Quick Updates!

So,thought I'd give those of y'all who miss me a quick update on what I've been up to.

Special shoutout to Alex. You seem to have had a great Halloween. Glad to see you had fun on Halloween,unlike me.=(

My girl Mandy is really busy with school but having fun too! Am missing you so much!

My baby sister is growing up so fast! Omg,I can't wait to see her!

Jason is a grown up now.lol. Keeps putting me to shame by working harder than me and being more rational.

Anyhows,my hair is growing back!! I am ECSTATIC!!!

I have long hair and don't look like a boy anymore! Thank god!!!

So,now,I've gone from this: To:

*notice the weight loss?*I'm a proud 54.5kgs! don't ask me how I did it coz I didn't do anything but catch a cold.><

School is taking up so much of my time. Mid-terms are next week. I feel like I just began this semester!! I have 10 papers for my mid-terms! 10 bleeding papers! Am afraid of failing my organic chemistry paper,again. Been burning the midnight oil and I hope its worth it. I have 15 papers for my finals.Dig that.><><

MSAJ has been taking up lots of my time,too. Every odd weekend in the past months has been spent organising events and attending meetings. The most recent was the Informative forum where we had speakers from the Board of Engineers Malaysia(BEM) and the Central Bank of Malaysia among others. We also did live streming via Skype so those in the southern regions of Japan could follow the forum and participate as well. Was nice to see Vincent after a long time although it was via a webcam and I think he didn't see me.lol Did u Vince?lol.The next event we'll be having is the All-Japan Sports Tournament,which is on this Sunday.Details @ our website. Just click on MSAJ up there.Go on,I know you want to.;) Then it's preparations for next year's Career Fair and the General Meeting,I guess.Stopped being a Teaching Assistant for Sphere Tokyo this semester too. Too busy,too many things on my plate that I had to prioritise. Hopefully will be able to re-join the team next year. Am missing my job.=(

I've been almost religiously blogging on the other side of blog-land despite my faltering tumblarity. I guess I like it rough,eh?;p

Am thinking hard about my life hereon. Lost dreams;new visions. Untread paths. Unconventional routes. I have a plan,which I will tell if you'd sit down with me for a cup of coffee and hot pie with a side of no-judgements.;)

Anyhows,this was s'posed to be a quick update. Will tell y'all more when I have the time and luxury to. lol.

We miss you already....

When I saw it on the news a week ago,I thought it was just another sick prank the media was pulling. Only after his memorial does it really sink in that he's gone. Only God knows all the reasons behind these sudden deaths and I trust He knows best. Michael has always been a part of me;growing up,his songs were always played during parties,we danced to his tunes,my cousins imitated him and we'd never miss a TV program about Michael. He will always be a part of our fondest memories. As long as his music lives,he'll still live on and like family,no matter how much we chastise someone for the changes they bring upon themselves,we who loved him,will always love him and remember him fondly for all he smiles he brought into our worlds despite his breaking heart. Goodbye my dear,we already miss you. May you always rest in peace.

Tired la dong.....

Lol...am blogging from the library. Got a stupid presentation on engineering ethics tomorrow and am waiting for fellow teammates to finish the slide. I am done with mine and can no longer bother to get mah beautiful hands dirty. Lol. Ok,maybe the presentation is not stupid. Thing is,I do not really agree with the topic we`re working on;cloning.I think it's just too much of hoo-ha for something thats experimental and may be life-saving in the long run. Yes,I am one of those who do not exactly think that cloning will bring about the end of the world. As they say,it isn't so much that the technology is evil,it's the people who are handling the technology that bring about evil. We humans always make so much of hoo-ha before we really realise the potential of something-be it technology or talents. We judge way too fast,we doubt too much. Engineering ethics is important so that we learn from past mistakes and are aware of our social responsibilities as technology-makers;just like how history is important to laymen. But cloning is the future.We,as of now,do not have cloned humans walking among us;cloned children deprived of their individualities and already we are thinking of cloned zombies taking over the world. I respect their need to ready themselves for the future,but,seriously,this is a sucky topic to be preseting for engineering ethics.
maybe not.....?
I am just pissed that my precious time is being wasted on this when it should be used for revising for the mid-terms which are next week!!

Just one day.....

The past weeks have been horrible...
I am tired....like no time to eat and sleep,tired..
Physically tired.....
I am at my limit and another week at this pace is all that it's gonna take to actually break me..
Thank god the headache,which I've been having for the past 2 nights,has subsided...
I freaking have to go to aynj's meeting today...
should be leaving soon despite the workload here...
sigh.....
actually,just need a day to rest..then I'll regain my momentum....
